Ho-hum. Ho-hum ho-hum ho-hum. I reckon that most adult converts get overly zealous pre-Confirmation, absolutely full of joy at Confirmation, and then go “hmm” after Confirmation. At least, that’s about where I’m at right now. Our RCIA wrapped up really early, and so now it’s “hmm” while I try and figure things out. Not [...] I suppose that a good lot of three people may be waiting for a write-up on Confirmation. After having almost an entire week to reflect back, I’m still at a loss for words. And those who know me, that takes a lot. I don’t really want to give a play by play, because it [...] Divine Mercy prayers: Day 7, Day 8, and Day 9. Stump the priests went quite well. I had my question answered (about fatalism and predestination) and got to mingle with people my age. Always a good thing. Two presentations tomorrow, which means there is sleep to be had … right now. Divine Mercy, day 6 has been posted. Tomorrow I am going to attend a stump the priest event, in an attempt to get an answer to a family member’s question about fatalism and predestination. Additionally, I’d like to perhaps maybe make some Catholic friends; so it seems logical to go to the place where [...] Day 5 of the Divine Mercy Chaplet is up. I wanted to spend a lot of time writing about … Confirmation, but it’s the beginning of the end of the semester, which means projects and finals. I have a final due tomorrow (8 page essay, please), 2 presentations (20 minutes each) on Friday – [...] Moneybags has Day 4 of the Divine Mercy chaplet up. RULE OF THUMB: if you tell God that you would like to offer up the coming week’s sufferings for special intentions, get ready for the downpour.
