Moneybags has Day 4 of the Divine Mercy chaplet up.
RULE OF THUMB: if you tell God that you would like to offer up the coming week’s sufferings for special intentions, get ready for the downpour. While I wasn’t asking for extra sufferings, apparently they’re needed. And while it somewhat sucks from time to time, I need to take a look at the Bigger Picture – that often helps refocus things.
I realize that I need to still post a recap of the Vigil. I don’t know if I can, it’s simply too hard to put into words. I can say what happened when (especially the part with the intoxicated gentleman), but to really tell is beyond me. It’s been such an emotional experience, even though I don’t really show it (in terms of tears). Gratitude is an understatement. However, I will do my best; but finals are approaching (one due on Wednesday already, 2 presentations on Friday, one next Thursday, one next Friday, a big paper due by May 4th…) so please remember me in your prayers for my sanity and my grades.
May 24th is the feast of Mary, Help of Christians. It is also the day that I fulfill a promise to Mary that I made quite a while back. She picked out the day, which I think is fantastic. There are already reasons why that particular day is the one she chose. I definitely need all the help I can get.
