It’s time for another awesome devotion! This time, it’s for an intention to pray for as we settle cozily into Ordinary Time. Over at To Jesus Through Mary, you can request that a special intention be given to you to pray for during Ordinary Time. Since God answers all prayers, why not get involved? [...] There are a lot of things running around in my head. Third orders, post-Vigil stuff, hypersensitivity, inside vs. outside, and the like. I like to think that these experiences (at least, the overwhelming drop off experience) is a common for the newly initiated. I know a lot of this has to do with the [...] This upcoming archaeology dig that I’m going on next Monday will be a much needed break from reality. The weekend was nice, albeit busy. But nice nonetheless. Spending 10 days with no Internet, electricity, running water, phone service, or even mail; it should be refreshing. I probably won’t be able to make it to [...] Yesterday I received an envelope from Opus Sanctorum Angelorum or, “Work of the Holy Angels”. Last year I got involved with spiritually adopting a man who is involved with the priesthood (bishop, priest, seminarian, discerner). My envelope contained the Crusade for Priests summer letter and a new name of someone for me to pray [...] I do realize the slight gap between the last post and now. I intended to write yesterday, but I received a very bad migraine, to the point that at times I considered that perhaps I should go to the hospital. I didn’t go, but it took about 14 hours for me to feel normal [...] Does anyone have any good prayers of thanksgiving that they like to say? I’m planning on heading over to the treasury of Catholic prayers to see what they have. I’m doing the standard “making it up as I go” prayer, but I wouldn’t mind taking a look at formal prayers.
