Friends, Obviously a small wrench has been thrown in to my life. More medical issues, again. While the restless legs syndrome is still there (and looks like it might be under control for a while), the Mysterious Leg Pain is just that – a mystery. I am not coping so well with constant “I’m [...] Friends, I mentioned recently that I had told my mom about the Benedictines. For the most part, she has been less than thrilled. I did my best to try and get her to understand basic things about the Bennies, like I’m not becoming a nun (if I make it to full Oblation) and that [...] This Sunday is Priesthood Sunday! Please remember and thank your priest tomorrow and everyday, for they provide us with so much – the Sacraments, guidance, and so forth. Tomorrow Make that Monday, I will post about my priest, Fr. L who has just been amazing. I had recently emailed Fr. H ways in which to cultivate silence. Obviously, since I can’t plunge my entire lifetime into silence, and since school and work demand that I use my voice a lot; I always come to the “Silence” part in the Rule and just shake my head and wonder. SO I [...] Friends, I have heard back from the neurologist. The good news is that all my problem stuff in my blood is back to normal. The neuro is not sure what happened, but they’re back where they should be (tee hee!). Thanks be to God! The bad news is that this means that everything I’ve [...] Friends, I have returned safely from my parent’s house. The only ” :-O ” instance happened when a deer stepped in front of my truck – while I was going 70mph. I slammed on my brakes and he ran, I either missed him entirely or knicked his back legs. 30 seconds later a second [...] Friends, I have not heard anything from the neurologist, despite calling back daily. Hopefully today I will hear something from her, but I am not holding my breath. Even if she doesn’t have test results, I would like to know what the hold us or if they’re being analyzed or what the deal is. [...] Friends, I realize that this might be somewhat of a short notice, but I am (once again) in need of your prayers. It has been almost two weeks since I had my neurologist appointment and almost two week since I had some additional tests done to see if the neuro could pinpoint further what [...] Father, in your goodness grant me the intellect to comprehend you, the perception to discern you, and the reason to appreciate you. In your kindness endow me with the diligence to look for you, the wisdom to discover you, and the spirit to apprehend you. Considering that it was given to me by God, it already was a good day but the activities contained within it make it an even better day.
