I don’t have massive sufferings in my life, ala cancer or any life-threatening disease like that. Looking around, I have a lot of good in my life. So much good, that sufferings – the little ones that I have – seem like the end of the world. Even though they’re not, perspective gets skewed. [...] So unbeknowst to me, Fr. L had a heart attack about 2 weeks ago. I didn’t know until Chunch today, which goes to show that I was lacking on checking the Parish’s website and deeply regret being unable to hit Mass for two weeks in a row. :/ The funny thing is that I [...] Today was my appointment with the neurologist. My mom goes to a neurologist but this was my first time. And it being a first time, I wasn’t too sure what to expect. Naturally, there was the waiting…but that’s okay. I was expecting to throw questions to the neuro about restless legs syndrome, mainly how [...] Tomorrow is my appointment with the neurologist. It’s a consultation regarding how to best treat my legs. There’s nothing else wrong that she can point out (God willing) but I’m still nervous nonetheless. I’m sure I’m getting worked up for no reason but I would appreciate prayers nonetheless. I will let you all know [...] Well, my move to the new room is complete. It was a little less stressy than usual (not by much), and I did have some help from friends. At any rate, there is news. Exciting news. In that Fr. H from the Monastery sent me the 1980 Rule of Benedict, the Benedict medal that [...] |
