It has been one week since our little Saint Elisabeth Hope flew home to Heaven. In some sense, it feels like eons since I went to the ER up in my Hometown. In another sense, it feels like it was just yesterday that it became more real that our baby was going home long [...] The latest and greatest Catholic Carnival is up over at Living Catholicism. Go take a look-see! I need a break from writing my Archaeology paper (I was mistaken in that it is due today – it’s actually due tomorrow). I have six pages written, and a third of the material that I want to talk about has been well, talked about. I don’t think I will have problems finishing it [...] Something I’ve been thinking about since we lost Elisabeth has been what we need right now. A lot of people are well-meaning and well-intentioned, and we definitely are grateful and thankful for them. I’m afraid that I am going to have to talk to one of my professors about getting an extension on some homework. I did procrastinate a little bit, but I was intending to do my work during Thanksgiving break … obviously, plans changed severely. It will be nice to [...] So, a rather large wrench has been thrown into my secret. Probably not surprising to anyone, yes; I was pregnant. I was planning on announcing here after Thanksgiving break, once my parents had been told. Instead, my parents were told about our little one when I called my mom to tell her that I [...] Tomorrow Greg and I are traveling home for Thanksgiving break. We’ll be back on Saturday. The trip isn’t long, but we recently had snow and we have to travel through a mountain canyon to get to my hometown. :/ Thankfully Greg is driving, but still. Ugh.
