Tomorrow begins a new year. This past year has been quite interesting – full of tears (of joy and sorrow), laughter, school, LifeIssues, and all sorts of fun things. I made some friends, lost some, and (I think) became somewhat more of who God wants me to be. I don’t do so well with [...] I love that it is only the 4th day of Christmas! Merry Christmas, continued! Our visit to be with Greg’s family for Christmas was vrey good. Dry roads, and while the temperatures got quite cold in the evening, there was no snow. Apparently the city we live in was dumped on with snow on [...] I have been feeling compelled to pray this beautiful prayer. It is a prayer of thanksgiving and joy, and has been around since the 4th century. May the Holy Family be with you all during these 12 days of Christmas and every day! O God, we praise Thee, and acknowledge Thee to be the [...] Greg and I had our meeting with the Married Student Housing people. Praise God, they’re moving us. However, since the new semester starts in January, all available units are obligated out. We are #1 priority for cancellations and the Director hopes to have us in a new unit by the time school starts (1/16/08). [...] Greg and I have a meeting today with the director of Married Student Housing. We have decided that since the repairs on our apartment are only repairs and not an actual fix – we’re going to request a move permanently into a different unit. When the maintenance supervisor and carpenter saw the mold and [...] Why reparation? When I told Greg that I was looking for a devotion to make reparation to Jesus Christ, he asked me if I was feeling extra guilty about something. The answer is no, I am not feeling extra or abnormally guilty about something. This is not something for me to do to “supplement” [...] Today is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. Mary, the New Ark of the Covenant, saved by Christ’s sacrifice was the Immaculate home for the Christ Child. Today we remember her privilege by God, and reflect on her virtues of humility, prayerfulness, willingness to do God’s will, just to name of few.
