I received my Statistics final today – it’s due Friday. So, I have about 48 hours to do this thing and be done with Statistics. I also have an Anthropology final due Tuesday, so these next few days are going to be busy for me. I am pretty confident I will pass my Statistics [...] I’m currently up at my in-laws. Greg and his parents are working on de-shrubbing the vegetation on the lot where our house will be built. I took pictures that I’ll post later on – some of the de-shrubbing and some of the house. Being the carrier of Elise means I’m forbidden from helping apart [...] Next week is “Dead Week” – the last week of classes before Finals Week of Doom. For once, my professors are not waiting until Dead Week to make things due, but rather are wanting things due this week. I’m sure I will enjoy Dead Week better this semester as opposed to semesters past. However, [...] that the latest Catholic Carnival is up! Greg applied for a couple more jobs – we heard back from one saying that his application had been received and is being reviewed by the hiring committee! Deo gratias! He’s also going to apply for some more jobs, one in his field of study. I am [...] There’s no sense in putting the gender at the bottom of this post since that’s the #1 question asked to us now that we’ve had an ultrasound. I will add in that we couldn’t get a good moneyshot, but the tech is pretty confident from the peaks we got that it’s a girl. But [...] It’s hard to believe that after today, there are only three weeks of school left. I’m currently (frantically?) trying to get all of my ducks in a row so I can graduate. The last thing I need is the Registrar coming after me and preventing graduation because I didn’t cross a “t” on a [...] My Anthropology class has been producing some thought-provoking connections in me lately. Much to the shagrin of my professor, it’s not about Anthropology but about Catholicism. We’ve been discussing relatedness in other cultures and the concept of siblings from the same mother being well, the same because they came from the same womb. Usually [...] My apologies for the radio silence. Naturally I want to blame a combination of school, pregnancy, and other things; but in addition to those fine and worthy reasons, a lot of it comes back to being introspective. Which, can be brought back to being pregnant. Yay hormones! Or something like that. Back in Lent, [...] Catholic Carnival #166 is up and running. Checking it out is always good, so get going!
