This week has been a week of purifying. Appropriate enough, considering the Liturgical Season.
Things have been highly emotional around here, as I’ve been forced to deal with things that are about 20 years old now. While it’s healthy and I know it, it’s still a rough road to walk.
I’m thrilled for my weekend though, as a very generous soul sent this in the mail for me to enjoy:
THRILLED, let me tell you! I finished up reading True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin by St. Louis de Montfort tonight, so I can hopefully read The Benedictine Handbook this weekend.
Aside, I highly recommend True Devotion, especially if you’re building a relationship with Our Lady. The language takes a little getting used to, but it’s a spiritual treasure for a good reason.
At any rate, I can hear Elise beginning to whimper with Greg, which usually means Mama is needed.
