As seen in my Benedictine monk uncle’s email signature:
A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter; he who finds one finds a treasure. A faithful friend is beyond price, no sum can balance his worth. A faithful friend is a life-saving remedy, such as he who fears God finds; For he who fears God [...]
Greg recently informed me that there have been 10,010 days since I was born. What was I doing on that 10,000th day? Most likely being anxious. Interesting. I don’t know how many days I have left on this earth, but is being anxious – extremely anxious – a good way of utilizing them?
My [...]
Allow me to give a backstory to this review: I received this book by Mike Aquilina in the mail on Saturday. I started reading it at 9pm, and by 11am Mass today, I had finished it. And that includes time to sleep, eat, bathe, and so on.
I really had a hard time [...]
A brief note to thank everyone for the prayers for my special intention, and also for the anxiety I am currently going through. While things are both not letting up nor explainable here, they are getting better. Things aren’t as choked with anxiety, and that really is a good thing!

At first glance, I thought this book was solely an apologetics book. I mean, the title sounds like it should be, right? I was totally surprised once I started reading the book that it’s not entirely apologetics based [...]
I’m expecting something really bad to happen in the next few weeks (see also, this prayer request). I’m really praying that things don’t turn out as bad as I’m expecting them, and it is so. incredibly. hard not to be so nervous and anxious. Every day I wonder “will this be the day?” – [...]
I wanted to write more on prayer. I, for one; don’t do nearly enough of it. I know that all the graces I need to fulfill my vocation as Wife and Mama are available to me, but I need to be ready to receive them. I don’t handle change very well, and with Elise’s [...]
Could I please ask for some prayers? The Good Lord knows what’s up, I just need some additional peace right now. :\
Thank you! :>
My goals for this week:
1) Stay on top of the dishes. UGH. 2) Work with Greg to reduce excess fats out of our diet. 3) Be cheerful! I’m Mama to the Cutest Girl In The World. 4) Reduce clutter in the bedroom by putting it back where it goes, and not using the [...]
