So if anyone tried to hit my blog recently and got a 500 error, my apologies. I did some behind the scenes tinkering and obviously tinkered a little too hard. Luckily I have People Who Are Smarter Than Me to help me with my mistakes. Over at Catholic Ipod, I found this awesome [...] 1. I am up to my ears in laundry. I really enjoy laundry, which makes me probably Sick And Deranged, but for some reason, this week’s laundry has been secretly multiplying when the lights go out. I have no explanation for this. And yes, I know it will get worse once Little One [...] Greg and I were thinking of teaching Elise some sign language to help her with her communication. She has a wide variety of sounds, but words are probably going to be a few months away. She’s obviously getting frustrated when she wants to communicate things, but can’t get the sounds for us to understand. [...] This week is shaping up to be the Week of Doctors, specifically Thursday. E-mittens has her 12 month well child visit with her new pediatrician, Dr. S. We saw Dr. S a couple weeks ago when Elise sprouted a fever and started pulling on her ears. Luckily she had absolutely no infections at all, [...] Now that the dust from Elise’s birthday party (and what fun we had!) has settled, I can finally get back to doing some writing. I know I’m backlogged on replying to comments and emails, so if you forgive my slowness; I’ll eventually get back to everyone. Currently, it’s as if I am almost [...] Our precious baby is now officially a curious toddler!! It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year already. :’) It’s been such an amazing journey, watching her go from this: to THIS! It’s been a fun, challenging, amazing, blessed, humbling year and I cannot wait to see what the [...] Well, I heard back from my OB and he wants me to the emergency room (now) for rehydration. We’re getting Elise dressed and her diaper bag loaded, then we’re off. Pray for us! erdit A couple hours later, and some IV fluids; I’m feeling SO MUCH BETTER. It turns out I have [...] Tomorrow is Elise’s birthday party, and I’m really concerned about me. It seems that all that lack of vomiting from the beginning of the pregnancy has turned around and I now can’t stop vomiting. I emailed the ask-a-nurse with the insurance company because I know how dangerous this can get, but I think I’m [...] It’s going to be a busy week around here, with Elise’s first birthday a mere … 5 days away? Seriously? Seriously? We’re having a BBQ with close family – my parents, Greg’s parents, Greg’s sister, maybe my brother and SIL, and Monsignor.
