Whew! It’s been an interesting weekend, that’s for sure. We had suspicions that Elise had roseola, and sure enough; we were right. After her fever disappeared, she had a non-itchy rash appear all over her body, and a little bit on her arms, legs, and face. That lasted 2 days, and now she’s [...] 1. I daresay, Elise may be getting totally over whatever she had. She slept well through the night and no fever this morning, thank God. I really hope she’s getting better – it’s no fun to see her sick! 2. Little One passed the 15 week mark yesterday and I still feel horrible. [...] Just when we thought Elise was doing good, her fever comes back. It’s not as high as yesterday, but still. She’s been sleeping most of today, so I’m praying that the Worst Is Over. Please keep praying for her. Last night, Elise had a low grade fever. We chalked it up to teething, and went to bed. At 3am, her fever was 101.5. She’s the Same Elise (aka, not acting sick) other than she’s not wanting to eat a lot and is more cuddly (and a little more crabby) than usual; so we’ve [...] Over the weekend, Greg and I became the recipients of a ton of elk meat. Well, maybe not a ton; but a lot of it. A friend of a friend needed some room in her freezer for the elk her husband shot, so she was giving away the still edible meat. Since Greg and [...] 1. The job Greg was called to be interviewed for? Right before we left on vacation? Yeah, they decided to repost the job and therefore start the hiring process all over again. We came to the conclusion that filling the vacancy in a timely manner is not on the priority list of the hiring [...] Yesterday we had another prenatal appointment to check on Little One and see how he’s doing. Dr. M and I had a riveting conversation about my vomiting, and since I’m holding my weight; he’s not overly concerned about my morning sickness. Tomorrow is the 14th week of baking for LO, so I’m hoping that [...] I think it’s time for another update on how I’m doing with the book A Mother’s Rule of Life by Holly Pierlot. My initial thoughts on the book are here, with an update here. In the latest update, I thought about the Divine Office and how I prayed it. The Divine Office for [...] Best. Vacation. Ever.
