7 Quick Takes, Up too early edition

1.
I daresay, Elise may be getting totally over whatever she had. She slept well through the night and no fever this morning, thank God. I really hope she’s getting better – it’s no fun to see her sick!

2.
Little One passed the 15 week mark yesterday and I still feel horrible. I think I’ve kind of given up feeling better anytime soon. :/

(It’s all worth it though!)

3.
I’ve delved seriously into the world of couponing. My mom was all about her coupons (still is, actually). I always rolled my eyes at her, but now I’m starting to get a grip on what I’m doing, especially with sales and getting stuff pretty cheap. The best place I’ve found to guide me in my couponing ways is the A Full Cup forum, which I hit when Elise is napping. I think I’ve saved us like, $45 in the last two weeks alone. :D

4.
Did you know there’s a podcast on Gina Loehr’s book, Choosing Beauty? I have the book, and it’s a worthwhile read. The Catholic in a Small Town Podcast unpacks it in a 10 week series (starting 9/7). I’ve listened to the first two podcasts and really have been enjoying them. I think I need to poke around the Catholic in a Small Town podcast outside of their discussion of the book, actually. :)

This made me cry. I plan on printing it out and putting it somewhere where I can read it regularly, especially when I need some encouragement. The entire message of the Archbishop is just amazing.

6.
Greg and I realized that our Second Wedding Anniversary is coming in up a little over 2 weeks. Two weeks?! As of now, we have no plans. :P

I think Greg and I may have FINALLY, FINALLY settled on a baby boy’s name. I know, I had said we already did; but after thinking about it, it’s just not working for us right now. The middle name stays the same, but I think we will name a baby boy Henry. I’m sure some of you are thinking, “But Kim! Henrys often go by Hank! What are you doing to this child?!” Trust us, we know what we’re doing to this child. ;-)

We’re still entirely up in the air for a baby girl’s name. So many choices – Veronica Marie, Greg is still pushing for Margaret Mary, Bernadette Marie (something I’m pushing for, since St. Bernadette is my Patron Saint), you name it, we’ve probably considered it. I’m kind of hoping the ultrasound shows a boy for the naming ease, but at the same time, I hope it shows a girl since we have a metric ton of clothes from Elise. :P But, either way; we’ll be thrilled. :)
