Small Successes for This Week

1.
I got Little One’s Baptism scheduled. Hurrah! It’s scheduled for Divine Mercy Sunday, which I think is a totally awesome day to be Baptized.

2.
Elise and I have been sleeping in and I’m trying (hard) not to feel guilty about it. I’ve been sleeping in pretty regularly now, which I’m assuming is due to being overly pregnant and chasing around a toddler and taking care of the house. Or my body is trying to stockpile rest for upcoming labor + newborn bonanza.

3.
Greg and I are finally delving into the world known as Boundaries. Or rather, we’re getting way more on top of enforcing them. It’s hard, but it feels good and it’s alleviating a lot of potential wank/drama/stress type stuff. Plus, it’s also a good exercise in charity, whoooo!

Need more tales of success? You can find them right over here.

Yes, what a perfect day for a baptism! And definitely don’t feel guilty about sleeping in – get the rest while you can! : )

Boundaries has been the word of the week for me. I still have to delineate them with certain important people in my life so pray for me.

BEST BAPTISM DAY EVER. And I too have been sleeping in… and feeling guilty about it :) I’m trying to get it under control during Lent, but that’s only b/c I have several months to go. When I get as close to the due date as you are, I’m getting as much sleep as I can!!

@ Marie – I will work hard on not feeling guilty. I know once Little One is born I will look back on these days, asking myself “why did I beat myself up over that?!”

@ Anna – Absolutely I will pray for you. We have to do the same thing, and we’ve saved the ‘best for last’, so to speak; probably because there will be a lot of wank headed our way about putting up said boundaries. :/

@ Anne – isn’t it though?! Our options were Divine Mercy Sunday or the Great Vigil. While the Vigil would be nice, it wouldn’t have been feasible for a multitude of reasons. I love Divine Mercy Sunday, and I can’t imagine anything more beautiful than being Baptized on that day. I’m kind of jealous of Little One! ;)

Absolutely sleep as much as you can. I still nap now, even when I’m not pregnant. If by some miracle I can get all 3 to sleep at once.
And congratulations on Boundries, that is life-changing!
