1. Re-configure the desk arrangement so I can have access to my sun lamp – Autumn is right around the corner and I tend to get hit with depression given the lack of light. I’d like to nip that in the bud. 2. Slowly catch-up (again) on laundry, chores, and so on that lapsed [...] It’s been a whirlwind today, with Lt. Brother-in-Law home before leaving overseas, and getting things ready for Elise’s birthday party on Friday. But, here are some of my prayer requests: + For Lt. BIL, safe travels overseas and eventually to Afghanistan, for safety in Afghanistan and a speedy return home. + For Greg’s [...] The official party is this Friday, but here are some pictures from our mini celebration on Sunday. A book from Grandma and Grandpa and some presents in the background. She never did like wearing the crown, despite enjoying it last year. Maybe next year! We found a copy of A [...] Consider this my first BIG haircut since 2005. I cut off about a foot because I could no longer keep my hair bunned and the ponytail was constantly sliding down my head, it was so heavy. It’s quite a change for me, and I’m still getting used to it (mainly when I brush [...] Two years ago today our little world was rocked (in a good way!) when you arrived. The last two years have been nothing but amazing and so humbling. We are so honored to be your Mama and Dada. We love you, Elise!! I’m getting quite skilled at driving from here to The Neurosurgeon’s. Not too long after I wrote about the CSF leak that had been glued shut, Greg came home and had me look at his head. And sure enough, it was still leaking. We did just as The Neurosurgeon asked which was drop everything [...] Yesterday was a follow-up appointment with The Neurosurgeon to remove the stitches from Greg’s head and chest. We noticed that the incision where the pressure monitor was had some gunk on it, but we figured it was from the ointment they had him apply to it. Well, it turns out that that was not [...] Could you please keep a friend of mine in your prayers? She’s going through a really rough time, to put it mildly. 1. Work on finding and stopping time leaks. I’m getting into that whole “I don’t have enough time to do everything” so I need to evaluate what is mission critical and what can be done later (or by someone else). 2.
