At 6am Wednesday morning, The Neurosurgeon walked into Greg’s ICU room and said that “hospitals are for sick people. You’re not sick. I’m discharging you at noon today.” The only restriction was that we stick around the hospital area for 24 hours (we went to the hotel across the street). After breakfast this morning we loaded up the Mom-Mobile and made the four hour drive back home. Greg is sleeping in his own bed, the laundry is on, Elise is watching “Cars” with my nephew; and my mom is helping bring in all our stuff.

I am so exhausted after this whole ordeal but praise the Lord; it is SO GOOD TO BE HOME! I’m planning on napping as well, or maybe just a looooooooong bubble bath. :)
