Consider this my first BIG haircut since 2005. I cut off about a foot because I could no longer keep my hair bunned and the ponytail was constantly sliding down my head, it was so heavy. It’s quite a change for me, and I’m still getting used to it (mainly when I brush it and wash it).

And yes, I did donate the cut hair to make wigs for pediatric cancer patients. :)

    @ Mike – thanks! :D
@ Laura – actually, I haven’t bought shampoo in over a year, thanks to about 1 week of awesome Walgreen’s sales. I bought about 15 bottles for about $5 total last September and we haven’t even put a DENT in it. Hurray stockpiles! :D
@ Gae – I need to get it layered … although that will be down the road a little. When my hair was longer, I had a nice wave in it, and now it’s straight. :D

    Dear Kim,
How brave you are I had my hair cut quite a bit after Arwen was born, it was down to my bottom and i found it a bit awkward. When I got it cut shorter and layered a little the curls I have now started to show up.
It is a big step I hope you are happy
    Blessings
    Gae
