At 6am Wednesday morning, The Neurosurgeon walked into Greg’s ICU room and said that “hospitals are for sick people. You’re not sick. Success!
After he came out of his surgery, Greg said he hasn’t felt this good since 2001. Needless to say, the surgery was a total success. His nurse tonight said the goal is to get him out of ICU tomorrow. DEO GRATIAS!!!!!!!!!
Third surgery scheduled
The Neurosurgeon is going to install a programmable shunt valve tomorrow. Whether or not the ICP horn is coming out tomorrow is unknown. I am sitting outside the hospitals ICU, where Greg is. I am on his iPod so forgive any typos. He tolerated the tie off well but developed hydrocephalus right away.
