Life as a Catholic wife and mother

One down, one to go

So today’s doctor’s appointment went quite well. I am now four vials of blood lighter, but done nonetheless. Elise was totally impressed with the blood draw – she always is, whenever I need bloodwork done. As the nurse was filling the last vial, Elise commented “Oh, jeez.” She held my thumb the entire time, and then asked the nurse to give me a sticker. Clearly, she remembers getting ‘needles’ at the pediatrician’s office and assumed that I too, would need a sticker after the needles.

Now we’re waiting until next week for yet another appointment – this is the appointment I’m the most nervous for. I am anticipating it to be spectacular, but the unknown always freaks me out a little bit.

And while I haven’t stated explicitly why I’m having medical appointments again, trust me when I say it’s not life threatening. And yes, I will tell, probably after the next appointment. :>

May Jesus the Divine Physician heal you and may the Holy Spirit inspire your doctors and nurses.
